The best retail display systems do more than hold product – they tell a brand’s story, resonate with the right audience, and work seamlessly in-store.

At Northbanks, we take projects from the very first sketch right through to engineering, manufacture, and roll-out, ensuring every stage keeps the shopper firmly in mind.

The Alex Monroe POS suite is a perfect example. We started with the brand’s nature-inspired aesthetic and translated it into a tactile, sustainable display solution. Using eco-friendly timber, precision laser-etched details, and a palette of warm gold, deep green, and natural wood, the suite echoes the jeweller’s design language while keeping the jewellery centre stage. The modular engineering means these units can adapt to boutiques, concessions, or pop-ups, allowing quick seasonal changes without waste – all while staying true to the brand’s character.

For Skinnydip London’s “linear” fixtures, the brief was different: a fast-moving, trend-led brand that needed flexibility and impact. We designed and engineered a pastel-framed metal grid system that could handle anything from phone accessories to beauty, bags, and apparel. Every detail was considered for Skinnydip’s core demographic – bold branding for instant recognition, open structures to keep products accessible, and layouts that suit quick in-store updates. From prototyping to manufacture and logistics, we delivered a solution that’s now rolled out in over 500 stores worldwide.

In both cases, success came from more than just good design. It was about understanding who the shoppers are, how they move through the store, and what makes them stop and engage. When every stage, from concept to installation is guided by that insight, display systems become more than fixtures. They become part of the brand experience, creating moments that drive sales and build loyalty.
