Northbanks supported Kurt Geiger’s European retail expansion with adaptable pop-up and concession environments across France and Italy, including Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Catania and Monza.
International rollout creates two simultaneous demands: consistency and adaptation. Every location has different dimensions, customer flows and retailer requirements, but the brand still needs to feel unmistakably Kurt Geiger from one market to the next.
Temporary formats also need to launch efficiently and justify investment while giving the business a strong platform for testing and growing in new markets.

Rather than designing unrelated concepts for each site, we developed the environments around a repeatable set of brand cues and modular fixture principles.
Strong colour, clear product presentation and recognisable graphic moments created immediate brand presence, while modular construction allowed individual footprints to flex around local conditions.
Northbanks developed spatial layouts for individual sites and produced adaptable fixtures using bold colour and Kurt Geiger’s distinctive visual language. The system was designed to make product easy to navigate while creating strong visibility from the surrounding department-store or mall environment.
The same underlying design principles could then be applied in different locations, protecting consistency without forcing every footprint into the same physical layout.
Northbanks coordinated design, production and rollout across multiple European sites, managing the translation of one branded system into different physical environments and retailer requirements.

Kurt Geiger gained high-impact temporary retail environments that maintained a recognisable identity across distinct European markets. The adaptable format supported expansion and market testing while giving customers a consistent expression of the brand’s colour, confidence and fashion positioning.
WHY IT MATTERS
International rollout is not about copying one store into another. A strong system identifies what must stay consistent and what can flex. Kurt Geiger demonstrates how modular design and disciplined brand translation can support expansion without flattening the character of the experience.
